Clean grounds, variety of merchandise, most vendors friendly, well organized.
Visited again, 9/14/2023. Great weather, a weekday so I expected it to be slow. Overheard some vendors say it was a slow week. Noticed a couple missing vendors I was hoping to see. Still, it is a good venue and we will return again next June.
My first time going and I can't wait to go again. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. There's so much cool stuff to buy and just look at.
Great little place. National Muzzleloading Rifleman's Association. They have 2 events a year. The whole town, along with the Flea Market grounds are full. Eat before you go, dang Gyro cost $16.00 on the flea market grounds. Great Day getaway
First time I ever been to Friendship but I have got to say it was an amazing experience! Plenty of stuff to see. There was literally something for everyone. Art, music, memorabilia, food, drinks and so much more!! Definitely look forward to going back. Let me just say I didn't get enough pictures and the ones I did get do not do this flea market justice. Something you can only experience in person if you haven't already been.
So nice to go to the place that was so awesome when I was growing up. I was a teenager and loved running around Friendship chasing boys. I had so much fun. On June 19, 2022, I get there at 11am. It was not packed. Lots of booths with many items to buy. Last day of the event. I made my way to the booth at the end of all rows to buy a famous Friendship t-shirt. Got it for 20 bucks. Everyone was friendly and eager to sell since it was the last day. I seen numerous vendors leaving by noon. So if you go in June or September, try to go the first weekend of it to see it all.. There were good vendors too. No buffalo burgers that I could find. I did get a classic, well known ice cream cone on the way out. Got a lot of items mostly small things I needed for sewing, home maintenance, entertainment. I just love going to Friendship but of course you could tell gas prices had an affect on the amount of vendors this year. I will go back. It's not far. Lots of people from Ohio there. Parking was easy and only 3 bucks. An ATM on site too. Tom Kerr was not there of course since he has since passed away. I remember him in the 80's. Cool guy and loved to help others while at Friendship. You got to go, lots of items to choose from.
We have gone both spring and fall for the last 3 years- and this one was by far the most disappointing time. We got food at 2 different places and ice cream at a 3rd and the only thing that was good was the ice cream. Normally we have a great time and the food is great. This flea market itself was not bad just seem like a lot of leftovers from this spring.
I've been wanting to go here forever. Finally got down there today. Unfortunately, it was their last day. Several of the vendors were packing up. It was a really neat place, though. There were all kinds of different booths. Clothes, flags, signs, knock-off designer purses, tools, guns, toys, holiday/yard decorations, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, perfume, jewelry, and antiques to name a few. They had a variety of food trucks & booths set up as well. A lot of it looked really good but was extremely expensive. I chose a slice of pizza for $5. It was probably the cheapest thing they had, in price and taste... They have an area to park in a field, and it cost $3.
I love going here. I've been going here for more than 20 years. It's always a fun experience. The food truck in town has the best walleye and fried green beans
